NOCCi Balasore Infrastructure Company is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) promoted by the North Orissa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NOCCi) for implementation of various project components at Balasore under Industrial Infrastructure Up-gradation Scheme (IIUS) with support of Govt. of India & Govt. of Orissa.
NOCCi Balasore Infrastructure Company is incorporated under section 25 of the Companies Act 1956 (No. 1 of 1956) (not for profit company) with Corporate Identity No- U911000R2010NPL011544/2009-10 dated. 29/01/2010.
The Plastics, Polymers and Allied Cluster, Balasore is comprising of three industrial estates, viz. Ganeswarpur, Somnathpur and Balgopalpur, in Balasore is an offshoot of the cluster development initiative of the North Orissa Chamber of Commerce & Industry
The promoters of industrial units located within clusters/industrial estates in the region with a majority from the Plastics, Polymer & Allied Cluster, Balasore had joined hands in taking the lead role in establishing the “North Orissa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NOCCI)” in 2006.
IDCO, an initiative of Govt. of Odisha to promote the industrial landscape in the state, has partnered with NOCCi to develop the PPACB project under IIUS with an objective to promote the industries not just in Balasore but also in the larger cluster – North Odisha
The SPV has developed common facilities at Balasore with an objective of improving the productivity of the existing units and promoting new enterprises/entrepreneurship. The project components are as below:
Bypass road 8.5 km from Balgopalpur IE to NH-16.
Surface water supply to Industries.
Strengthening of power distribution Infrastructure.
Railway siding
Truck parking.
Warehouse
Common facility-Machine Tool Room & Training Center.
