There shall be no limit to the number of Members of the Chamber.
The Chamber shall ordinarily accept organizational membership from associations of industry and commerce. In addition there shall be the following categories of Members, who shall have the same rights and privileges.
I) Corporate Member (Manufacturing)
ii) Individual Member (Professional Trade & Service)
iii) Expert & Honorary Member (except right to contest election)
iv) Organizational Member (Affiliated)
Corporate Members shall have number of representatives in the chamber depending on their annual turn over/ annual membership subscription amount. For members with sales of up to 1.00 crore annually -1 rep. 1.00 crore to 10 crore – 2 rep. 10 crore & above- 3 representatives.
An application from a candidate for admission as member, shall be proposed in writing in the prescribed form by one Member and seconded by another, and the Committee shall have power to consider or reject the application at its discretion. An applicant whose application is so rejected shall not be admitted as member for a period of six months from the date of such rejection.
Every member shall pay the chamber the entrance fees and annual subscription or such other charges, as may be fixed by the Executive Committee from time to time. The Executive Committee shall be authorized to fix and determine such fee and charges payable by the members at appropriate time as it may think fit. The Fee & Subscription payable by the founder members are payable as follows;
(A) Entrance Fees
(B) Annual Subscription.
(C) User Charges for use of the services & resources of the Chamber
Expert/ Honorary Members shall not be required to subscribe to the funds of the Chamber.
